Dinosaurs follows the life of a family of dinosaurs, living in a modern world. They have TV's, fridges, microwaves, and every modern convenience. The Dinosaurs are an animatronics stone-age working-class family created by Jim Henson for Disney. Incredibly overweight, even for a dinosaur, Earl Sinclair is married to Fran and tries/fails to support 14-year-old valley girl Charlene, 16-year-old Robbie (whose crest eventually turns into a Mohawk and gets dyed purple), widowed, cranky Grandma Ethel, and terrible-twos Baby, the true master of the house. Green Acres is a spin off from The Beverly Hillbillies and Petticoat Junction, set in Hooterville and Pixley, Kentucky (fictional unincorporated areas of Lexington) ... with significant inspiration from Eldon, Missouri. It is the only series in the franchise to have every episode made in color, and was canceled with many other Situation Comedies in 1971. It was revisited later with a movie Return To Green Acres. In the Hooterville - Pixley area has a heritage rail line with a steam locomotive. Otherwise this area along with many other rural areas have been forgotten and neglected until the franchise seeks to undo this oversight in this case through the eyes of starring character Oliver Wendell Douglas and equally concerned wife Lisa. A successful attorney / heiress couple has plenty of capital to invest in their 160 acres of land and through the course of the series ... the entire area also. It does not take long before Oliver is revealed to be a Dreamer with little knowledge of how to get a farm past the planning stages. Lisa, along with every other character, objects to Oliver's passion for farming, is discovered to be inept at cooking and housekeeping. Both of them now reside on their farm and learn to cope with their shady construction workers trying to help them expand it, as well as the local telephone company.

Set in Oakland, California, this is a show about Mark Cooper, a former NBA basketball player who moved back to his hometown to become a coach at his old high school, Oakbridge High School. In the first season, he shared his house (and the rent) with his old friend Robin Dumars, a music teacher, and the sexy Vanessa Russell. At the start of the second season, Robin had moved out of the house and Mark's cousin, Geneva Lee, and her daughter, Nicole, moved in. Also, P.J. Moore, the formidable principal, was added to the cast while the neighborhood kid, Tyler, frequently seen in the first season, now became more prominent as Nicole's best friend.
